Navigating sex, desire, and who we are in intimate spaces can feel frustrating and painful. Most of us never received a true pleasure education—instead, we’ve had to piece together our sexual identities without guidance. Along the way, we absorb societal messages about what is or isn’t “normal,” and carry shame when we fall outside those narrow norms. If you don’t comfortably fit within monogamy, allosexuality, heteronormativity, the gender binary, or racial privilege, you may feel confused and lonely—as if something is wrong with you, as if your body is deviant (and not in a fun way).
If you’re ready to liberate yourself and your relationships from shame-based messaging and find your authentic self, I would be honored to support you on that journey.
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with unique experience helping people explore their sexual identities and desires. I spent eight years as an activist advocating for sex workers’ labor rights. Through that work, I’ve witnessed the breadth of ways humans pursue intimacy and connection, explore taboo identities, and grapple with sexual “dysfunctions” and compulsive sexual behaviors. I’ve learned how to talk openly and compassionately about sex and desire—even when the conversations are difficult.
I hold a degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My approach is eclectic, rooted primarily in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Liberation Psychology, with somatic and mindfulness techniques. I also offer EMDR for those who want to release trauma that has lived in the body for years beyond the events that created it.
I specialize in working with couples and individuals dealing with anxiety, shame, and issues related to sexual assault. My areas of interest include nonmonogamy (consensual and nonconsensual, including infidelity), polyamory, kink, gender identity exploration, LGBTQIA+ issues, sexual assault, sex work, and compulsive sexual behavior.
