She/Her/Hers
Hi, I’m Anitalyn (like Anita and Lyn put together into one word). I’m so glad you stopped by! I specialize in helping people cope with major life stressors, and even minor life stressors. Adjustment on any level can be really hard. I’m also deeply familiar with the polyamory community and the kink community, very familiar with the swingers community and similar alternative lifestyle communities, and I’m an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe this world would be a better place if everyone could let go of judgment. I also have expertise in grief and loss, including pet loss, and I have experience with helping people overcome the effects of narcissistic abuse and gaslighting, which oftentimes leads you to create defensive and alternative coping strategies that may not be serving you well today.
I have a passion to help people become the best versions of themselves, whatever that means to them. I think so often we find ourselves walking through life at 85 percent — 85 percent happy, 85 percent fulfilled, 85 percent peaceful. I’d like to raise that to 100 percent! There may be more to life than we realize.
In my work, I focus on building trust and rapport with my clients, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their challenges and goals. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on individual needs and promoting self-empowerment.
I have been licensed almost 20 years as a clinical social worker in the state of California and have been licensed in Arizona and Nevada for the last several years. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in Psychology from Cal State San Marcos. I accept a variety of insurances as well as private pay clients and I’d love to be able to work with you to help you soar into being all you can be–let’s go for it!
