There are many reasons women have trouble climaxing. Hundreds of thousands of women suffer from anorgasmia, which prevents them from achieving orgasm despite having adequate arousal and sexual stimulation.

Los Angeles Sex Therapy founder and owner Moushumi Ghose says if you don’t feel good about yourself, it will be harder to enjoy sex. “This might be because of body image insecurities: You’re worried that your partner will notice your belly rolls or cottage-cheese thighs.”
